Lipperlandhalle

 

Every success is based on solid ground: The Lipperlandhalle is the home venue of TBV Lemgo. Transformed into a multifunctional indoor arena in 1997 already, it has been once again converted into an ultra modern and highly comfortable hall giving space to 5,000 spectators in 2004/2005. Since its completion the hall is called the "jewel of the region".

Several features of the arena inaugurated by TBV Lemgo with the home match vs. HSG Wetzlar on October 22nd, 2005.

 

Professional sport

  • Increase of capacity to a total of 5,000 including 10 to 15 % standing places and 600 VIP seats
  • Installment of executive boxes with 250 seats
  • Dressing rooms for professional sportsmen and coach’s office
  • Spacious lounges and lobbies and a hall TV concept
  • VIP area for 800 persons and press conferences

School sport

  • Preservation of the large 3 field sports hall, restruction of  dressing rooms
  • A new 2 field sports hall measuring 22 x 44 m which can be asymmetrically divided, with about 160 seats and 100 standing places
  • Gymnastics room of 10 x 11 m, power and fitness gym of about 70 sq.m.
  • Storage room for canoes

 

Cultural events

  • Flexible functionality with alternative stage locations and a smaller capacity
  • Reinforcement of the roof in regard to snow loads
  • 6 dressing rooms for artists
  • 2 tour management offices, kitchen and dining room, arena management office, storage rooms
  • Concerts and events for up to 3,200 persons

Congress area

  • Large hall for 800 persons with gastronomy which can de divided asymmetrically for smaller events. Both parts of this hall can be used individually.
  • Kitchen with adjoining and cold-storage rooms for congress area and arena
  • At least 16 connection points for  mobile bars

Outdoor facilities

  • Large forecourt
  • Parking for OB vans, fire engines and ambulances
  • Plantations and greenery surrounding the pathways
  • Additional car parking for 400 vehicles
  • Subterranean garage for 140 vehicles with direct access to the arena
